It is worth trying even if you have oily skin. It's mostly water, a humectant (glycerin), emollients and moisturizers. I've used better toners, but they cost a lot more - this is a better deal. It does not leave my skin feeling greasy. It has a pleasant fragrance, but it would be even better without it. It would make a nice aftershave for men if it was fragrance-free.
