Summary: Get what you pay for
Comment: I wish id have spent more money and got something other than a foil-type shave. Doesnt do a close shave. This was the first electric shaver ive purchased. Not even close to shaving with a cream and a dispsoble razor.
I wouldn't purchase again.

Comment: I really enjoy using this shaver. It took about two days for my beard to get used to an electric shaver, but after that it worked great, giving me a close shave every time. Also I can use shaving cream if I desire and I can clean the shaver under running water! I only have two complaints. The first and the biggest one is that it doesn't have a light to indicate that the battery is running low. Second I wish the battery would last a little longer before needing a recharge; but the great shave beats out the two problems easily.

Comment: I bought this based on the reviews here and I've been pretty disappointed so far. My old shaver was a Braun 5414, which lasted me a good ten years and was a corded/cordless foil shaver. This one is not, and I didn't even realize how much I'd come to rely on that. Panasonic claims you can get seven shaves on a charge out of this, but that's if you shave for only 3 minutes! Who finishes shaving in 3 minutes? You certainly won't with this thing - it eventually gets a close shave, but it's got such little power that I keep having to go over the same areas again and again before it's really done. It ends up taking me about 20 minutes for a full shave, which means I have to charge this thing literally every single night.
And of course, sometimes I forget... which would be no big deal if it was both corded and cordless. Just plug it in and use it that way when you run out of juice. Can't do that with this shaver; you need to charge it, and it takes eight hours to do so. That means you're just stuck without a shaver if you forget to charge. I've had to keep my old shaver around as a backup because of this, which is pretty ridiculous.
If this shaver had either more battery life or was corded as well as cordless, I could at least recommend it despite the weak little motor. As it is, it's a trifecta of problems that add up to a deal-breaker.
