However, when the AC adapter is attached tp the back of the dock, it keeps detaching when you place the nintendo in or take it out. We often go for long drives and now with this item, he no longer compelled to ask "how much longer till we get there?". Customer Rating: Summary: Misled Comment: This product advertises for nitendo ds yet when it comes it is for a ds lite. Plastic package it is normally sealed in came taped up and looked as though it was in a war. Not too familiar with the product, this was to be a gift but am too ashamed to give this to anyone, let alone a kid. After waiting all this time for it to be delivered, what a disappointment. If it does work with regular ds it should state so in adverisement. I am up in the air on what to do now. Customer Rating: Summary: DS Lite only! Comment: We have a DS and DS Lite, and the charger has the mini-USB attachments for the DS Lite. Overall it worked well for the long, multi-day car trips, and we are using the base as a night-lite with the DS Lite inserted.
