Customer Rating: Summary: Effective and a good value Comment: This product was recommended by a friend who has been using it for some time. I like it and it seems to take the place of a facial peel I used to frequently add to my skin care routine. I think it is a good value and is effective. When used along with the toner it can be a bit harsh at first but after a week or 2 things calm down. Customer Rating: Summary: Great product! Pros: Noticeable difference in skin tone after a week. Inexpensive. Not irratating on my sensitive skin, although I don't know how that is possible. Great job on exfoilating surface of skin. Not oily. Fresh clean feeling after use. Good for cystic acne, although, not perfect. Evens out skin pretty well, again not perfect. Any light surface scars or marks will be noticeably lighter. I use it about 3 times a week.
Cons: As with other reviewers, it is not a makeup cleaner. I use a makeup cleaner first to remove any makeup, then dry skin and use this product. Does not lather like soap, it's a lotion consistency. Now, when I wake up in the morning with no make up on, I will use this product only and it is just like a cleaner. Just doesn't remove makeup well. Have to use on dry, not wet, skin. Doesn't seem to rid of blackheads, which I don't really get, but it doesn't for me.
I massage the cleaner onto dry face. I notice if I keep massaging it will compeletly absorb into the skin and dry, then I sometimes put some more on. I lather with some warm water and then rinse. Sometimes I use a light buff pad to really exfoilate and it doesn't irritate my skin.
I have semi-sensitive skin and tend to break out around the chin, mouth area. This product really helps that area and doesn't make it worse.

(And she wasn't trying to sell it to me because they didn't stock this). I tended to have issues with Adult Acne - annoying large cysts along my jawline and they seemed to last forever. Within a short time of using this line of products, they stopped appearing and I just won't go back to using anything else. I have been using Aqua Glycolic for at least 3 years now and my skin looks and feels so much better! And the nice side effect is that I don't tend to use as much concealer or base makeup because I don't need to cover much up. For anyone with Adult Acne issues, I recommend trying these products.
