Summary: Did not work at all
Comment: I just received this product and it was defective--did not work at all. It actually looked like the box had been opened. Maybe it was a previous return that was not taken out of inventory. Anyway, whatever the reason this is poor quality control.
I am returning it and trying again.

Summary: Good little humidifier
Comment: I bought this humidifier last year when my daughter (under 1 yr) got a sinus infection and couldn't get rid of it for well over a month despite several rounds of antibiotics. After using this humidifier for a couple weeks with another round of antibiotics her sinus infection was gone so we decided to use this every night. We have used this for almost a year now and we love it. I haven't had any problems with things growing in my water tank as others noted on the site, but the water is never in our tank for over two days so maybe that's why we haven't had any problems. We also clean the base water basin with a bleach/water mix and a soft cloth every 2 days and rinse and fill the tank at the same time. I just recently noticed the black paint starting to chip off the nebulizer, but read on the Crane website that this is a known issue and happens on all of their units and it's too heavy to get into the mist (which makes sense to me and I haven't noticed any paint chips anywhere in her room except in the water basin). We also haven't had any problems with our unit (we have the cow) leaking at all like other reviewers have. Our daughter hasn't had a sinus infection come back since we've been using this so I'm going to credit that to this humidifier since we struggled with them for so long before getting this. Well worth the money!!

Comment: It's adorable and works great! I used it mostly at night when I sleep. However, the motor will die within a year. So only buy it, if you don't mind spending the money to replace it every year.

Comment: The Frog works VERY well!! We previously purchased the dragon and it was a total dud. I was skeptical to buy another Crane but for some reason the Frog is awesome. Highly recommend this for those chewy coughs and runny noses.

Comment: The thing about this product is that it is a penguin and that it is so funny and adorable to look at. It is bound to brighten anyones mood when they walk into the room.
It is perfect to sit on any flat table surface and can operate for many many many hours at a time. The cool mist is cool to touch as one walks by and will make any room feel cool.
