Summary: Toasted Nuts 'n' Cranberry - Edible But Nothing to Write Home About
Comment: I tried the Toasted Nuts 'n' Cranberry flavor and was dissapointed. The taste is rather bland and tastes like what you might think of when you think of a health food bar. Hopefully I can find other people on camping, hiking, biking and skiing trips who like these things cause it will take me forever to eat them.
On the other hand, I've tried a bunch of the Clif bars and they've all been awesome. If you are looking for good tasting snack bars for your outdoor adventures or just something to tide you over during the day go with Clif Bars & skip the Luna Bars or at least the Toasted Nuts 'n' Cranberry flavor.

Summary: FINALLY, a bar that is good for you AND tastes good!
Comment: I found Luna bars in my ongoing search for tasty, healthful snacks that would satisfy, have some whole grains (Luna Sunrise), a good balance of carbs and protein and also contain a decent amount of fiber. Kashi bars' odd texture and aftertaste (and a tendency to go stale quickly) had sorely disappointed me. SoyJoy left me hungry. Clif's ZBars were yummy but carb-heavy. Clif's regular bars were tasty but too dense and sugary. When I read the Luna label I was impressed. So far, so good! I *LOVE* Luna's flavors (Chocolate Peppermint, Lemon Zest, Smores) and can't wait to try more!! Luna's makers have discovered the perfect texture; chewy but not gooey with a bit of crisp and no grit. They are sweet enough to satisfy cravings but not overly so. For hours after I munch on a Luna bar, I am not plagued with hunger. My 15 y.o. daughter is now hooked too. Finally...a snack we can enjoy AND feel good about! Will continue to purchase.

Summary: A little too sweet
Comment: I am a big fan of the Luna line of bars, and I love Cookies 'n' Cream ice cream, so I thought I would love these bars. However, I found them to be a bit too sweet for my tastes as a breakfast bar, which is how I usually eat them. The quality is up to Luna standards, but just a bit too sweet for me.
