Summary: Better than we expected
Comment: We bought this furniture sight unseen (needless to say). Something we would not have normally done. We bought 2 chaise lounges, 2 chairs, 2 ottomans and 3 nesting tables. We looked around in our local area and saw what you could buy for the same money. It ranged from unacceptable to OK. We knew this wasn't a lot of money for what we were buying. We were very surprised and pleased. The furniture is well made and came well packed in perfect condition. The finish is nice. The furniture is sturdy. There were some very minor cosmetic flaws where the corners were welded together but the cushions hide them. The cushions are well made, comfortable and fit well. Like others have commented, the cushions are so light in color and don't look like they'll clean up easily. With kids and dogs I know what will happen in no time at all. I'm looking for some kind of washable cover for them.
I think we got more than our money's worth with this purchase. Our pool area looks great with this new furniture.

Summary: How much do I love these?
Comment: Let me count the ways: they are elegantly styled, lightweight yet substantial, comfortable, and they look as if they cost 2-3 times the price. I purchased four chaises. They are easy to adjust and look GREAT. While it says that these have a black finish, I think that the color is more of a very dark cocoa brown. Based on other reviews, I decided to buy additional cushions (think end of season clearance at a big box store) to use for "everyday". I'll pull out the light cushions when we have parties. Bottom line: even with shipping, these were a great buy!

Comment: I am so thrilled with this product line that I just had to leave a positive review (somthing I've never felt stongly about before this). After spending hours/days/weeks online looking for a quality set I could afford, I finally found Strathwood's Falkner Collection. Each piece is welded throughout, no rivets or screws, and no assembly. The design is equally comparable to Frongate, Pottery Barn, and Ballard Designs. The cusions are well made, as long as you've resigned yourself to white and it's up-keep. I've purchased 9 pieces and couldn't be happier. In addition, I received the set within 5 days...an additional plus.

Comment: I found these on sale so I was not sure what to expect. These are much better than other brands found in local home improvement stores for twice as much. The finish on these chairs is perfect. It will hide scratches from storage over the winter. These are very well constructed. The cushions are thick and very comfortable. The reviews below are a little misleading. The cushions are a light color and may get dirty as anything else would. It's very easy to keep clean as long as you don't roll around in the mud and jump on them. Come on people... The other comment about it not laying flat? Its as close as you can get without being flat. These chairs are 10x better than anything you will find for less than 500 bucks in your local stores. Just hope you find them at a great price as I did

Summary: Cushion information for the Falkner Lounge!
Comment: I purchased these online and got them less than a week. I am thrilled with this purchase. The design goes well with both contemporary & traditional decor. The chaises are solid and appear to be well built. * The cushions, although made in a stain-getting off-white, are comfortable enough. There are 2 matching-fabric covered buttons on the front of the cushion for what I can only assume was for looks.
Before buying this item, I looked everywhere trying to get the dimensions of the cushions to get quotes on getting new ones. I didn't find them online anywhere, but now that I have these, here are the measurements in case anyone needs them:
* The cushion itself is approx 3" thick.
* The cushion is in 2 parts - one for the seat back and one that is the seat bottom (where your legs go) and are connected with a piece of flat fabric.
* The SEAT BACK cushion measures: 25" wide x 28" long.
* The SEAT BOTTOM cushion measures: 27.5" wide x 46" long with a 1" notch 10" from the top of seat bottom (to accommodate the arms).
I got prices to replace the cushion in a more user-friendly color of sunbrella fabric and got prices from $200 - $260 per chaise. I have ultimately abandoned this idea and have purchased terry cloth chaise cushion covers from Pottery Barn for less + the covers are washable!
