Summary: Better than average...but not worth its "face value."
Comment: Eh. This powder is so-so. It does the trick, but for the price, I was expecting something more luminous. I'm lucky to have good skin, but for someone who is trying to cover blemishes or dark circles, I doubt this powder would satisfy. I use it to set my under eye cover-up and that's about it. It works better with a sponge than a powder brush...the powder brush just makes a mess. And it doesn't come with the sponge (c'mon, throw in the sponge Laura...or include a little brush like Paula Dorf does). As far as having a foundation component, I don't see it. The more you put on, the more pancake-like it looks. It just a tad better than the Physicians Formula stuff you can get at the drug store.

Summary: Not as good as BE
Comment: Coverage was not as good as BE and I would not be ordering foundation if I did not want coverage. Color was ok. I sent it back.

Summary: not the best for light Asian skin
Comment: Three things:

(1) This powder works well for its advertised purpose: that it's a color corrector and foundation in one. I applied it over some very red pimples and it masked them rather well. (Although, when applied with a face big brush, the color correction wasn't nearly as effective for my dark scars.)

(2) This pressed powder is VERY powdery. Even a light swirl with my brush caused a bunch of loosened powder particles that made a small mess.

(3) This is not the best color for light Asian skin. Even when I applied it only lightly, it was pretty clear that my neck was yellow but my face was beige.

Summary: Very good for minimal coverage use.
Comment: I have this product in both Fair and the Regular version, they are very similar in what they do so I will speak in general terms. This product is perfect for those that just need a little oompf added to their complexion. Maybe you have a little redness or unevenness in your skin tone, if so, this will be something that you can use instead of a tinted moisturizer, to even out your skin tone. If you have more to cover than this might not be a good product for you. This product is also good for teens that may want a more finished look but don't need a lot of coverage.

If your skin is medium or darker, then get the regular. If you are any lighter than a light to medium shade than you need the fair. If you are ULTRA fair, like so fair that most foundation lines are too dark for you, I don't think that even the fair is fair enough.

One thing that I want to make clear about this product is that if you are coming out looking muddy or uneven than you are using too much. Also, if you skin feels "powdery" than you are using too much. This really should only be lightly dusted over the skin, like you would a finishing powder. Also, if you have moisture on your skin it may collect in it and appear darker than you want.

It seems a little expensive, but for how much you use, this will last a long a very long time.

I use both of them, even though I am very fair. I use the fair lightly over my skin to warm up my ivory complexion, then I use the darker shade as a bronzer and for slight contouring.

*on a little side not, this product works well for photos, and does not wash you out with the flash.

Summary: Feels Light As Air
Comment: This is a great alternative to liquid/cream/mineral foundations. It has a much lighter feel on the skin than any of those products. It also does what it says it will in covering (slight) imperfections and evening out skin tone.

I found it has a tendency to darken slightly as it "warms" on the skin, so use a light hand, and if you're very fair, choose the light shade. For most complexions, however, the medium shade should work well.

Great way to feel finished without a full face of makeup!
