Low Carb and absolutely the best. Makes 8 buns. Fragrant and scrumptious taste for a truly homemade quick and easy mix. Just add butter, cream and egg. Cut and bake for 8-10 minutes. Icing flavor packet included. Makes 8 delicious buns - freeze 'em if you have any leftovers and pop into the microwave to give some pizzazz to that boring low carb breakfast! Customer Rating: Summary: Good Comment: These are tasty, but a lot of work to make. They also were a bit expensive. They're good, but I don't know that I'd buy it again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Another nasty and misleading product from Dixie Carb Comment: Yet another mix from Dixie Carb that went straight to the trash can. No one could stand to eat it. It's very hard to make (and I bake a LOT). The picture on the front shows what are obviously yeast rolls, but this mix CANNOT look like those, no matter how good at cooking you are. This is not a yeast batter, and they even say in the directions that the rolls do not brown (even though the rolls on the front are golden brown and obviously have risen from a dough). I am now convinced this company is a rather questionable operation run from someone's garage. Nothing tastes good, none of it is even somewhat healthy (with all the butter and eggs and cream the recipe calls for), and I have asked for a full refund.
Customer Rating: Summary: These products are terrible Comment: These Dixie Carb products are awful. They might be low carb but they are full of fat, hard to make and taste awful. See my review on the pecan sticky buns for the gory details. Don't bother!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Taste Comment: This product tastes just like any other cinnamon bun! I was skeptic at first...but the taste is very good. Everybody at home liked them. At 3g net carbs, it is a treat you can afford in your coffee break in your low carb lifestyle.
Customer Rating: Summary: Horrble Comment: They tasted awful! I followed the directions step by step, took about 30 minutes to make them. The final product was not worth the time it took to cook them. We won't be buying them again.
