Customer Rating: Summary: comfortable, size just right Comment: There's a review reporting that these shoes run large, and another that they run small. I've bought four pair, and all fit as expected in my usual size. (Goldilocks trope now complete.) I would have liked to be able to tighten the strap over the toes a bit more, but that hasn't diminished my comfort in any way, as I walk a great deal but don't otherwise qualify for the "sport" label. After a summer of daily wear, the soles of my first pair show no sign of the usual cracking at the ball of the foot. The shoes are reasonably priced ($20), and I've been very pleased with them. They're the next best thing to going barefoot, and I expect to be wearing them well into the fall. Customer Rating: Summary: Summer Foot Comfort Comment: Summer Heat and Summer feet are my problems. Not great, a little cheaper quality than I thought. They are not that comfortable either. They are okay, but the comfort level could be better. Customer Rating: Summary: A step down Comment: The sandal this one replaced was much more comfortable. The front strap seems to be useless because is is actually attached closed, giving little or no adjustment. The rear adjustment strap is not needed, if it needed to be loosened your heel would be hanging off the back anyway, so lose the back adjustable strap for a permanent one and I'll just buy the right size. With those front and rear adjustable straps comes extra flaps of leather which have rubbed blisters on my feet. I like the leather insole but the cute little pinstripe design started peeling off the first time I tried them on. It's a step down from their previous version. I'm looking for replacements. Customer Rating: Summary: These run SMALL, but they're great Comment: I purchased these for my son in the size he normally wears and they were WAY TOO SMALL. I wear a ladies' size 9 and these men's sandals in a size 9 fit me!! Another reviewer said he found that they run big...I don't get that.
We have three pairs of these shoes in our family (2 pairs for my teenage sons and one for my teenage daughter who likes them). They are great! Terrific value for the money. These are comfortable and look nice.
