It appears to be very sturdy and we already have seen the benefits to this type of mat - the dirt falls through the holes rather than just sit on the mat, which prevents bringing in the excess dirt. Very happy with this purchase. Customer Rating: Summary: Works well in Florida rain Comment: The mat is great for cleaning your feet before going inside but where it realy shines is during the Florida downpours. I can step outside without getting my feet soaked. It looks great and has held up to our sunshine. My dog however does not like it; too mant spaces for her paws.
