Comment: These work pretty good. They don't take up much space and are sturdy. I wish they were American made, at least they weren't made in China! And as usual , the Amazon.com service was excellent!

Comment: I'm impressed by how strong and light these are, and they do fold quite flat for storage. I agree that the lack of a second set of "toppers" is a major oversight on Stanley's part: what were they thinking????

Summary: Sawhorses X Stanley
Comment: The sawhorses are just right; they are lightweight, store flat on wall hooks, and have a substantial weight bearing capability. They are designed to allow the installation of 2x4 rails on the top rail on either the 1.5" edge or the 3.5" edge of the 2x4. 2x4 rails can be used to raise the work surface or to provide a sacrificial piece in case one sets saw blades too deep. However, Stanley includes only one pair of slide-on supports for 2x4 risers for only one of the saw horses. If you want to elevate the surface that rests on the sawhorses, you need to obtain an additional pair of slide on supports. My constructive comment would be that the offeror should provide the option of an additional pair of slide on supports - even at extra cost. I have not been able to find such items in Home Depot.

Summary: Great Product - Great Price!
Comment: I bought a pair of these for my son-in-law because this twin pack was approximately the same price as one sawhorse at our local home improvement chain store. When they arrived, my husband opened the box, checked them out, and asked if he could keep them - so I immediately ordered a second set. Both these men in my life say they love them and that's good enough for me.

Summary: Excellent folding saw horses
Comment: I'm a contractor and I have 4 pairs of these sawhorses, I'm buying 2 or 3 more pair.
When these exact sawhorses first hit the market 15-20 years ago I laughed when I saw them! I said "What kind of cheap homeowner crap is this?" At that time I made all of my sawhorses out of wood. These sat out in the weather, got rotted, got broken, took up space in the truck, etc. Then I made more, they got wrecked, so I made more, ...
Then I worked with a buddy of mine for a few days, a pro, and we used his Stanley folding plastic sawhorses. I went right out and bought 2 pairs.
These are excellent lightweight sawhorses. They are MUCH sturdier then they look. They're easy to transport and store and they can take a beating. These saw horses will not come apart like the newer, more expensive Stanley "adjustable" sawhorses (I had a pair of these too; the rubber feet came off first time I tossed the things into the truck).
Drawbacks;
*They need reasonably flat, reasonably level ground to hold the 1000 lb advertised.
*They can push over when loading big, heavy stock, IE., they're light and not as "planted" as wooden horses.
*You need to be careful not to cut the things when sawing sheet stock.
*Dirt and sawdust seems to really stick to the horses, especially when wet; and said crap ends up in the truck if you don't turn them upside down and bang `em on the ground.
I'm still using the first pair of these sawhorses that I bought way back when, and I can't tell them from the newer ones. These Stanley plastic sawhorses a great tool for what they are, they are way tougher than they look.
