I did think it was white though from the pics, it is actually a tan color with brown beads, but I liked it better so it was ok. I got so many compliments wearing this dress, from my wedding to everday wear. I just love this dress. Dress was actually almost tan (coffee color) and beading was copper or bronze. I ordered the dress a size larger to "take in" if needed. Dress was actually tight at a whole size larger. The only reason I kept the dress is because the shipping would have made it a costly mistake so I will use the fabric to create another garment.
