Summary: Label on product does not match the advertised label
Comment: Boric acid is boric acid, for someone who has used it in the past. For someone like my partner who is hesitant to use any new products, it was important that the product was advertised as specifically "for vaginal yeast infections". But the label on the actual product shipped does not match what was advertised. Instead the fact that it is a poisonous substance was most prominently displayed and nowhere on the container does it say "for vaginal yeast infections". As a result, the product sits unused, and I am disappointed I did not get what was shown at least as far as the label is concerned.

Comment: This was recommended to me by my Doctor for female issues. It seems that there are so many different benefits to Boric Acid. I couldn't live with out this product. It seems that many old time products work better then new ones. It was surprising to me that it kills cockroaches. I have used it for years.

Boric Acid powder works--and rather efficiently, too. My mother lived in a huge New York City apartment building from the late 1970s until 2006; and of course from time to time she'd see a roach that had crawled through the vents into her kitchen or living room. At first she didn't know what to do; and when I lived with my mother I can assure you from my own experience that the problem was less than appealing.
Finally, my mother found out about Boric Acid powder. She carefully sprinkled some along the front of the vents and even along some of the cracks in the molding between the bottom of the wall and the floor. Viola! The roaches went bye-bye.
There are some precautions about using this as I'm sure you can imagine. First off, if you have small children or pets that may accidentally ingest this, either keep them away or use another product to get rid of the insects. Also, watch that this never gets near any food stored in your cabinets. YOU don't want to ingest it--not even the slightest bit of residue--you may well need to go to the ER to get this out of you ASAP.
Another reviewer notes that you can use Boric Acid powder in your shoes and socks to get rid of sweaty feet. I can't comment on that because I've never heard of Boric Acid being used that way.
Overall, as long as you use it right, Boric Acid powder works wonders if you wish to get rid of roaches, water bugs, ants or more. I recommend it as long as you use it properly.
