Comment: I am very impressed with the quality of these mattress pads. I bought four. The fabric is soft and tightly woven, and the sides are generously proportioned for a fat mattress. I have spent more and received less in every other mattress pad I've bought. I washed them as soon as I got them, and they stood up to well to my cranky washing machine's abuse.

Comment: I bought this for my dormitory twin sized 300-year-old bed. It has improved conditions somewhat. The other kids bought foam, and hopefully spent more than I did because they got thicker padding! I have not tried washing this yet (I'm scared to after reading reviews about melting plastic!!), but it looks pretty nice on the bed and stretches just enough to almost fit over what I assume is a 'long twin.' If you want a perfect fit for that, buy something for that kind of bed, I'm just easily pleased. The material is nice and it stays on, which is really all I ask for from a mattress pad.
