This is Part One of a two-part concept album set some 15 years in the future and is a vision of that future, a cautionary tale of a world we could be living in if current world events stay on the path we are set on. 16 tracks including the first single 'Survivalism'. Universal.

Comment: It isn't my favorite CD; it definitely took a little warming up to, but I still think Trent is a genius.

Summary: Good, but sounds like B-sides....
Comment: "Year Zero" is like NIN"s "Piscies Iscariot". Its good stuff, but it sounds like B-sides. The only tracks I really like are the final three-Another Version of the Truth, In This Twilight, and Zero Sum. Does not rank with other NIN albums, sorry.

Comment: Being a big NIN fan I was always going to buy the album, but after With Teeth I'd assumed they were in a steady decline so didn't have my hopes too high. Luckily for me I was horribly misguided; Year zero is a magnificent album from start to finish. A very welcome return to form.
