Comment: My 5 year old was asking for a guitar for his birthday. He was good at Guitar Hero, but I'm not paying that much money. After searching around for a durable guitar, I came across this Power Tour guitar. I read the reviews and decided to get one for him. It is AWESOME! He can almost play every song now and he's only had it a month. I think that is pretty good for a 5 year old.
Overall, it is very durable, fun, educational, a good buy, everything you want in a toy. I wish every toy fit into all of those categories.

Summary: buy this before u buy real guitar!
Comment: too difficult for 12 year old son. so glad we spent 20 bucks before purchasing real guitar for hundreds. son was 'dying' to play guitar... after struggling with this one, he sees it is not so easy to play an instrument. i am sure he will pick it up again when a little older!
