Summary: The proverbial better mousetrap
Comment: These traps are really effective; you place a small amount of bait (I use peanut butter) in a little bait-cup, close the cover, and slowly move the set-lever back until it locks. Unlike traditional spring-traps there is no way I can see that you would accidentally snap your finger, unless you have them sticking into the entrance. Getting it to lock can be a little tricky, you really do have to move the lever down slowly.

The mouse has only one way in to get the bait, so he goes down the little hallway and is lined up just right and SNAP!, no more mouse. I've caught two mice in the same night with the same bait.

I wish I knew how and why mice want to be in my house (I don't leave food out and clean up crumbs), but these traps take care of the problem quickly and about as humanely as possible.

Summary: UNBELIEVABLE TRAP
Comment: I hate the idea that I have no choice than to kill, I tried the humane way for 5 years, but they are overunning my house.
I bought several different types and the mice beat the trap and got away with the goods. Not with this trap, I put it under the sink with some cheese I had left over and within ONE HOUR, no joke, I had a mouse, I was a little taken back to see his little legs and tail sticking out but I am sure he could not have suffered since this thing is quick.
I will buy several more tomorrow now I can put them everywhere not being afraid it would hurt my dig or cat, yes I have a lazy cat. I had a terrier that brought me mice on a regualr basis, she is gone now, guess that is why I have a problem.

Summary: The best trap I've ever used
Comment: I have a mouse problem in my current apartment, and these traps have been a life saver. They are so easy to set, and I don't have to worry about my fingers getting snapped when I set them. You don't have to see the mouse to know they've been caught (at most, I can see the tail of the mouse sticking out of the trap), and they're easy to reuse.
The only quibble I have is that you have to bait the traps in a certain way if they are to be most effective. I use peanut butter for my traps, and I noticed that, if you place the bait a certain way on the trigger, the mice can get the peanut butter without getting caught. That's the only complain I have, however. Definately worth the price.

Summary: Mouse caught in 2 hours
Comment: I purchased one of these traps not knowing if it would work. I had bought a different concealed trap from DCON that never caught a mouse. I put this one out in the kitchen in the early afternoon...within 2 hrs I had the snap from the other room and it caught its first mouse! I was very impressed. I only used a very tiny amount of peanut butter. One downside was that the long tail of the mouse stuck out from trap, avoiding 100% concealment, but didn't have to see the body. I recommend setting some of these up if you have mice problems.

Summary: Effective but Gross
Comment: Due to some construction in the condo beneath ours we have had a recent influx of furry guests. I baited the trap with peanut butter and placed it in my kitchen and caught a critter that night. The loud snap caused my daughter and I to run into the kitchen and we saw the trigger had been released. HOWEVER, we were greeted by the disgusting sight of the mouse's tail and back feet sticking out of the trap. I thought the cover would prevent me from seeing any part of the mouse. Needless to say, I was too grossed out to even CONSIDER re-using the trap as indicated. Although the traps are more expensive than glue traps, they work better. We will just use them as disposable traps. I cannot bring myself to release the dead critter and reuse the trap, especially when I can see his rear end. My only request is that the cover be made just a bit longer to cover the mouse's dead rump.
