Comment: With its slightly greasy consistancy and sharp smell, this hair butter weighed down my twists without giving them much mositure. However, when applied to my open hair (styled in an afro) I was pleased to find dazzling shine and softness in every mirror. I was very impressed with the results provided by one generous dollop of hair butter.
I am uncertain of the proper way to store the hair butter. I had been keeping it in cupboards and this, apparently, is not a good idea. Twice I've had to skim mildew from the surface of the product. At this point, I'm keeping it chilled in the fridge for fear that I'll have to toss this months-old jar of HB out in the trash.

Comment: The smell of this product is strong. It can slick your hair down without the damaging of gels or hairspray and is a good conditioner for edges...it even lasts a long time, but Ihad to get rid of it because I couldnt stand the strong smell. I like the Elasta QP mango butter for the same effect.
