It is light and stylish and definitely blows harder and drys faster than my wife's old models. The only thing I was disappointed by was the sound level. It was advertised as a quit dryer. I don't know, maybe it is a little bit quieter than my wife's other dryers but not significantly. I don't think it should be advertised as a quit dryer. Over all it is still a very good value for the price. Its performance is superior to the salon dryer my mother-in-law paid over a hundred dollars for. Customer Rating: Summary: One of the best hair dryers available. Comment: One of these broke after perhaps 5 years of use so we went looking for a replacement. After trying several models from several manufacturers the only thing that came close was a dual fan Remington we found at WalMart. That was ok but as good as the old model so we ordered this model from Amazon and have been 99% happy. The only detractor is it does not come with the concentrator attachment and I already threw the old one away. Customer Rating: Summary: Replacement Comment: My hairdryer died and had to find a new one and ager a lot of research and pricing. I decided on the Remington Pro Air Ionic Dryer. I find it to be a little on the heavy side compared with my old one but otherwise it has been nice. The low speed for drying is still a little to fast but other then that it is a nice dryer.
