Summary: Broken upon delivery
Comment: The generator was broken when I received it. Not the usual broken spark plug I've read so much about, but the actual metal that connects the gas tank to the main unit was broken off. I am returning today, so we will see how that goes.

Comment: I bought 2 generators from internet shopping recently one from Amazon.com.
The deal seems good to me but not when you actually received it .
First one was came with broken bottom supporter.
Second one came with broken fuel tank.
I had tried to exchange it but failed Amazon.com says I will find customer service button on return policy page. I tried many time to look for the button I could not find.
I do strongly recommand not to purchase from Amazon.com generators.
It is worth to visit store near you.

Comment: The first one I received had a huge crack in the engine. I'm glad I noticed it before adding fuel. It took me awhile to figure out how to contact customer support but once I did, after I got over the language barrier, a new one arrived in 2 days (today). I have yet to inspect the new one but I will report back for an update.
One problem I am having already (directions from the first one) is how to ground the unit. It states in the directions the unit is labeled where to ground it at. But I have yet to find it. So unless I can find where on the unit you are suppose to ground it from, I guess I'm screwed.

Summary: You Get What You Pay For
Comment: It is still true "you get what you pay for". The second after I opened the box, I was disappointed. I could clearly see this was not a quality product. If you intend to use this generator for backup power during an outage, this is not the right product for you. Occasional recreational light use would probably be fine. The generator would not stay running and the pull-start broke on the 7th pull. Amazon shipped me a replacement and it arrived severely damaged. Having just lived through Hurricane Ike in Houston, I can tell you first hand you will need a dependable generator. Our power was out for over a week and some people I know did not have power for three weeks. During outages you will really depend on your generator to keep your refrigerator running, charging cell phones, running a fan to stay cool, lights in the evening, and running a DVD player for the kids. You will be praying your generator keeps running. Fortunately for us our large generator worked well during the outage. We purchased this smaller generator to save gas during times we did not need a lot of power. I am sorry that I didn't purchase a better quality product. Even at this low price, this generator is not a good deal.
