I also would like to say, my game boy advance looses it's battery door all the time. I have yet to lose the battery door on this one. I broke my first game boy advance after 3 days of owning it! I broke a display model of a game boy micro as well!
Old game boys are much more durable than the new systems, do not buy a Game boy SP or a DS they break so easy if you drop them it's not worth the money at all! The nintendo game boy has a humble and beautifuly dot martix ,brownish green unique and excellent design and the unit has enhanced ochestration sound ability to play inspiring sounds and music. I use the Holy Bible on the gameboy with the wisdom tree product which contains the Holy Bible ,King James version As it uses sound in that excellent cartridge too.
