I'll stick with stinky, greasy creams, thank you very much. Customer Rating: Summary: Works great, but hard to apply and remove Comment: I've suffered from lower back pain for nearly 20 years. These patches work wonders on my back. In about 30 minutes I go from not being able to transition from sitting to standing, to being able to do light housework with little or no discomfort. They are not miracles (neither are the Therma Care), but they do what they advertise. My back pain (on a scale of 1-10) goes from a 7 to a 1 or 2. And it stays that way for a full day.
The only issue I have with the patches, is that they are not that easy to apply or remove. They have two areas on either end of the patch that are very sticky. Once you've applied the patch, it stays put, but when you have to remove it, it can be painful if you have sensitive skin or hair. I do have to say though, that once it is applied, I forget it is there (except for the smell of menthol from time to time. All in all, I would recommend this product, but try the Therma Care ones as well, as you may find those a bit more comfortable (its a personal choice).
