Customer Rating: Summary: 5300 Kodak Easyshare all in one printer Comment: The first one that arrived at my house did not work. I had to call Kodak directly and after several phone calls I was provided a new printer
Customer Rating: Summary: If it's as bad as the 5100 look elsewhere Comment: I have the Kodak 5100 rather than this model and have had nothing but troubles. They have replaced the print head, and eventually the entire printer. I have spent at least 8 hours on the phone with their tech support. Still I have problems. If the current fix of another new print head does not fix the problem it goes in the trash (where it belongs).
This model is the same as the 5100 with some added features and I suspect it is likely to have the same problems. Save yourself headaches and frustration: buy from a different manufacturer.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Time Comment: I am a real estate appraiser who, thanks to technology, primarily emails my reports to my clients. Not needing a top of the line printer, I picked up a Kodak All-in-One Printer because it had a great price point. Plus, the cartridges were so much cheaper and I was tired of being "ripped off" with the high price of competitor's cartridges. What a fool I was. The Kodak cartridges cost 1/2 as much but you replace them at least twice as often! No savings there. Now the printer will not print in black (print head issue). If you print less than a few pages a week, this thing might last you a year or so. If you use it daily, don't make the mistake I did. Spend a little more and save yourself the headache. What a POS!
Customer Rating: Summary: Best printer I have owned. Comment: This is The easiest, best quality printer I have bought so far. Leaves HP in the dust. I have owned 3 HP printers and had nothing but trouble with them. Plus the Kodak printer has ink at half the price of HP. I do highly recommend this printer.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pleased Comment: I love the Kodak all in one, But I did find like many others, that the software was hard to get installed.. had to go online and download new software and it didn't install totally right, but everything on the Printer works fine. The ink is so much better priced and easy to live with, Makes great Pictures as well. So I would recommend the Kodak 5300 with just a small heads up about the software.
