Summary: The connection is finicky
Comment: The cable gets the job done. But when I first make the connection to the video camera, and the software gives me the ok to download from an external device, it doesn't always "connect" right away. It'll start searching for the device and then say there's nothing connected. I'll have to click start again and jiggle the connection to the camera for it to recognize it. This may even happen more than once...then it'll connect ok and go though the entire process without error. It's just a bit annoying at first sometimes.
