Summary: Good attic ladder, but not outstanding
Comment: This is for the ten foot model. After install, ladder functions fine. Need some basic wood skills to install. Manufacturer's rough opening at 22 1/2 inches was wrong as ladder came as 21 3/4 wide at one end to a maximum of 22 inches at the other, definitely not square. The rough 54 inches was right on. Had to shim all of one side to fill in gap and fit it snug to ceiling joist. The rating of 350 lbs. is a bit optimistic in my opinion, and will not risk testing it. The light weight of aluminum is easy for my wife. The pull down cord was inadequate and short. Custom made a heavy and long replacement with a pull handle to improve the grip. Though not ready to stall out-of-the-box, a good ladder for price, not great ladder. Would recommend.
