In the time honored tradition of cosmic American rock 'n' roll music, The Bridge uphold the freewheeling, adventurous, ever soulful spirit of legendary bands like Little Feat, The Grateful Dead, The Black Crowes and Los Lobos. Having built a rabid fan-base along the Eastern seaboard with consistently sold out shows in cities like Baltimore, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Richmond and Asheville, The Bridge have taken their music to the next level over the course of 2007, playing upwards of 200 shows, including tours in all corners of the U.S. and appearances at major rock festivals like All Good and Wakarusa. With their new album highlighted by standout tracks such as "14 Days," "Easy Jane" and "Flats of the Old Avenue," The Bridge are on the verge of joining the esteemed ranks from whose lineage they emerge.

Customer Rating: Summary: The Bridge Comment: I saw and heard The Bridge for the first time at All Good 07' and fell in love. They are an awesome band!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great CD Comment: This band played a local outdoor concert this Summer. I had never heard of them, but really liked the music. Based on the live performance I bought the CD. It is a welcome addition to the collection
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent CD Comment: This self-titled CD is the first from the Baltimore, MD group who started out as bluegrass and turned into something entirely different when they decided to add a beat box for percussion. Probably roots is the best description for this group, but it's not a complete one for this bluesy, funky, jazzy sound.
What's great about this freshman effort is you get 12 solid songs with a good runtime. My current favorites are "Get Back Up," "Easy Jane," and "Angelina."

Customer Rating: Summary: Solid from start to finish Comment: This disk is solid from start to finish with a nice blend of funk and rhythm that will stick with you. I can't wait for their next project.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great everyday album Comment: This album is solid through and through, time and time again. There are two absolute gems on it in Angelina, which conjurs up one of the most easy going sounds I've ever heard, and Chains, which shows the true energy (and synergy) of this band. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their music served like a hot bowl of gumbo.
