Summary: Why the product should not have a light.
Comment: Recently I purchased the Finishing Touch personal hair remover trimmer, and I am not thrilled with it. I had purchased one similar to it a year or so ago, and I am not happy with the light. If you try to use the it between your eyebrows, the light makes it difficult to see and it takes away the battery power. I have to replace the battery at least 1-3 times every month.
Also, the top of the trimmer does not stay locked in one position. The slightest pressure with cause it to bend when you don't want it to bend.
I prefer the original design, with out the light. I don't need a light on my trimmer to see what I am doing.

Comment: This is the cheapest, most poorly made, useless thing I have ever seen! It falls apart, pulls your hair, and doesn't work. The only thing you could possibly use it for is to trim your eyebrows, and it doesn't even really do that well. Don't buy it!

Comment: My dermatologist told me about this product, says she has one of her own she has used for 2 years already. I at first thought it was broken, but I put the battery in upside down! When I emailed "As seen on tv guys" they responded right away, and were very patient with me. I recommend this product. It works really well, happier than I expected to be with this products results.

Summary: BEST PURCHASE I EVER MADE
Comment: I don't know what these other reviews are talking about. I have had mine for about 2 years and never had a problem with it. I think I've only had the change the battery once and that's it. It works in a flash on my mustache, chin, between and above my eyebrows. I wouldn't, however, recommend it for bikini line and eyebrows. It doesn't work great on the coarser hair.
As a point of reference I am hispanic and have thick black hair. I will never go back to depilitories, waxing, bleach or any of the other products that scorched my skin.

Comment: It seemed too good to be true, and whaddaya know? It was. I recieved the package a couple weeks out and popped in a battery. Nothing. The darn thing didn't work at all. I tried a different battery. Same thing. It comes with a warranty, but I'm not paying S&H and the additional $5.99 to send it back and get a new one. Not worth it.
