I'm just waiting for this sale again so I can order another one. I've tried many reed diffusers only to be let down on the amount of scent received from them. This one is different. The scent permeates my bedroom which is 15 x 15. I would highly recommend this product when it becomes available again! Granted fragrance preferences are highly individualized, but to me this smells like a cross between "linen" Lysol spray and some other cleaner type smell. It's not horrible nor is it soothing. As for the rock tray it is inexpensive looking but not embarrassingly so. I plan to reuse it w/ a lavendar type fragrance oil. I can not find refills though, and have contacted the manufacturer Pearlessence - they said they do not sell refills for this scent as there is not enough demand. It's a shame to fall in love with a scent in this kit and not be able to refill it.
