This US to Australia three prong adapter will NOT accept a standard US two blade polarized plug. FYI, that is the standard plug where the left side neutral blade is slightly bigger than the right side blade. Just about every US wall outlet made in the last forty years is designed to accept polarized plugs, but not this adapter. This product is completely useless for me, and for just about anyone who wants to plug in a two prong AC to DC converter (think laptop power pack, digital camera battery charger, electric toothbrush charger etc...)
