Summary: So disappointed
Comment: I fell in love with every Chi product once I bought their flat iron. Now that is utterly amazing. It creates shine like no other method of styling and my very curly frizzy hair stayed as straight as I liked for days at a time - even a week. And no frizz, even in the most humid weather. Believe me if you can keep hair from curling and frizzing five blocks from the beach, you are golden. Stays beautiful even on long walks on the beach itself!
So I was so excited to order this Farouk Deep Brilliance curling iron because I was sure it would live up to my Chi flat iron, silk infusion, shampoo, conditioners, etc.
First off, it is designed so that both the barrel (of course) and the arm that holds the hair on heat up to the same temperature.
What a waste of money.

Summary: is hard to use
Comment: It works the total opposite to every curling iron I have ever used. Instead of being spring loaded to close, you have to hold it closed and I cannot open it one-handed. I would NOT recommend this product.

Comment: First, I got this super quick, no problem with shipping whatsoever. And I disagree wholeheartedly with the reviewer who is having trouble with the handle. It's a professional handle and it is WAY easier than a traditional model. I had the opposite experience and I find it's much faster to do my hair because the iron does all the work. It sort of spins the hair right up, hold for 10 seconds, and you have gorgeous big curls. I highly recommend!

Comment: THE HANDLE IS A PROFESSIONAL HANDLE... IT WORKS FINE... THAT IS THE ONLY TYPE I WOULD USE... IN SHORT PUPS SHOULD NOT RUN WITH THE BIG DOGS... I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ADDING THIS IRON TO MY COLLECTION. I HAVE PURCHASE THE BLOW DRYER AND THE FLAT IRON... GREAT PRICE...JUST VERY SLOW DELIVERY!!!!

Summary: Can't get used to this type of handle
Comment: If you are used to the "typical" type of handle on a curling iron, you will be easily frustrated with this model. It takes me twice as long to do my hair. I also hate that there is no way to hold the tip of the iron without burning yourself.
