I would not consider their earlier product(s), as it (they) apparently make(s) your hair very greasy. This product dries quickly and only makes the hair a little stiff in the areas it is applied. That comes in very handy in windy conditions! It helps keep your hair in place and also helps to cover balding areas. I have noticed new hair growth in less than 2 months. Although I am aware that I must use this product for the rest of my life or my new hair will start falling out, at the current cost of $10 - $13 per month, it is a real bargain.
