Editorial Reviews:

CalaGel medicated anti-itch gel is invisible and non-staining. CalaGel provides relief from the pain and itching associated with minor burns, sunburn, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites and other skin irritations. Plus, it dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, oak and sumac.

Customer Rating: Summary: Stops mosquito bite itchs too Comment: I have excema and am very sensitive to mosquito bites and Calagel works wonders for both.
Customer Rating: Summary: Another Tec Labs Oak-n-Ivy hit! Comment: I'm one of those lucky ones that really is sensitive to poison ivy (or oak or sumac, take your pick). The urishol oil spreads like wildfire on my skin. At the moment, I use 3 different products, two made by Tec, like the one here.
Pro:
-Great for itch relief, feels cool to the touch... aaah, feels so good!
-Lifts/traps irritant oils as it slowly dries
-Also claims that it also has antiseptic properties, so if you've scratched you can try to avoid an infection
-Been around for years, at least it was on the shelves in 2001 when I first purchased Calagel
-Light odor and no discoloration of skin or clothes... no "pink stuff" like Mom's old-fashioned product
-Cap is well-designed and does not leak if I take it with me on the road
-If you look carefully, you get a free trial-size sample of "Tecnu" bundled with this Calagel package
Con:
-None to report
Bottom line: Highly recommended. Been using it since 2001 and I love it. I use it about every 3 hours and apply it several times in a row if needed. Once it starts itching, it's harder to stop it, so do it more often. See our other poison ivy relief favorites.
Customer Rating: Summary: anti-itch Comment: My husband had red itchy spots on his legs and had tried multiple products, with no relief. He bought a bottle of Calagel and no itching!!! It is great to finally find something that helps. I would recommend it to anyone.
