Comment: This item is great for someone who wants to access email while on the road, surf the internet and work on some files. It is very light weight. If your not familar with Linux then there is a learning curve. That for me was the only down side. Battery life is approx. 2 hrs on a full charge. Boots quickly and screen quality is great.

Summary: Fantastic Product...with one minor drawback
Comment: I bought this product for my wife (she is in sales) and she loves it. The only drawback I can find deals with my complete ignorance of the operating system (Linux). The system runs great...but I have no idea how to update it or even link it to my home network (windows). Each time I try to read up on it...I come away more confused.
Don't get me wrong..the spreadsheet, and word processing is extrememly similar to Excel and Word. Easily saved and sent wirelessly through email to our home computer. The thing works seamlessly...but as soon as I try to deviate from those simple task I run head first into not being familiar with Linux at all.
This is really a criticism that deals with my lack of knowledge...but if I had realized how hard it would be to run (or not be able to run) and executable file...I would have opted to have it pre-loaded with windows XP.
For now...she will keep using it (and loving it) and I will have to hope I can find time to figure out the operating system.

Summary: Love my EEE PC!
Comment: I've had this little computer over a month now and I LOVE it! It's ultra-portable and so lightweight. The keyboard is small, but so am I. I can see, however, how it might be difficult for someone with bigger hands to type on the small keyboard. It doesn't have much extra room, but I bought an 8gb jump and that works fine for storing my pictures and documents. I mostly use the computer for internet, email, and some homework. I have had no problems with the wireless connection. My classmates think it's really cool. So do I! I would give it 5 stars, but because it doesn't have much storage I'm giving it 4. By the way, I also have a MacBook Pro, but I don't ever carry it to school because it's bulky. I can put this computer in my purse, or in the small front pocket of my backpack.

Comment: Usualmente viajo mucho, y es un dolor de cabeza sacar las laptos para revision en los aeropuertos, mas la pantalla que no cabe en el asiento del avion, y lo complicado del tamaño, esta es la mejor opcion pequeña,compacta, y con un disco duro externo todo resuelto.
Se las recomiendo.
