The Germ Guardian Ultrasonic Table Top Humidifier (H1000) uses nano-silver technology to fight the growth of mold and bacteria from growing in the water tank. When water is vaporized into the room, it is free of bacteria, mold and mildew. Unlike large, bulky humidifiers the Germ Guardian Table Top Humidifier is small and compact. Its space-saving design allows you to place it on a night stand or on your desk without taking up a lot of room. It has cool mist humidification, stands approximately eight inches tall and has a tank capacity of one-half gallon. It has a run time of up to ten hours depending on atmospheric conditions.

Summary: should have expected.
Comment: sure it's pretty quiet. the blue glow might be too bright depending on where you put it. it's very small, and it lasts way longer than all night on one tank. so it takes *a long time* to get *not that much water* into the air. there is no adjustment; it's either off or on. i'm not convinced it has a significant impact on the humidity of my bedroom.

Summary: Germ guardian humidifier
Comment: This is the 2nd one I have purchased and still love it. I gifted it to my nephew who has excema and using this at night seems to help with this condition. My sister loves not having to purchase replacement filters and the moldy smell in the room is now gone. It also works for 10 hours straight on a refill. It is quiet and I like the light blue glow as it replaces a nightlight. Very happy with this product.

Summary: Very pleased at first, but, of course, reality sat in...
Comment: This product worked very well for the first couple of months. Then, all of a sudden, it wasn't producing the steam/hydration it was producing. Then I noticed the tank needed some cleaning, so I cleaned it with soap and warm water. During the cleaning, I used my fingernail to gently scrape off what I thought was a piece of something black on the metal piece in the bottom of the tank only to discover that that made it all much worse. Anyway, this has proven to be not worth the money for me. $50 for 3 good months of use is far too expensive.

Summary: Does just what it's supposed to do
Comment: This is a no frills table top humidifier. It is very small, makes little to no noise and does the job very nicely. The light (one of my concerns before purchasing) is very small and isn't even bright enough to light up our small bedroom. It's easy to clean and fill. I would definitely recommend.

Comment: This works great in my son's nursery. (It is a small room.) The product creates a subtle background noise, and it prduces a soft glow, which both help my son sleep. It is VERY EASY to clean, and it doesn't require filters. I've bought/returned several humidifiers, but this one is staying!
