Summary: Needs an English Release
Comment: There are really very few games that can pull off the whole 'point and click' thing, and this is one of them.

Basic gameplay consists of sleuthing around environments, discovering hidden objects, dismantling/disarming a few types of bombs, and battling with other NPCs - all with L helping you along the way.

The art in the game is all well-drawn, and I'd say there are a few sequences that push the DS to its limit.

The music is, surprisingly, engaging and it does a fantastic job of setting the mood for the game.

The controls, I hope, are self explanatory. You point with your stylus - either on a background (like a hotel room) or to make choices.

There's a great deal of dialogue in this game - both written and voice-over.

The game is in Japanese - no option for English, although there is a bit of English in the game. So, for those of us who can't read Japanese, this fact turns a not overly difficult game into something of a challenge. It is still totally playable, but with a great deal of trial and error.

Made by Konami (Not sure why Amazon has it listed as Ubisoft), and of course we know that Konami is synonymous with quality. I get the impression that a lot of thought and hard work went into this game - it definately shows.

Unfortunately, there is no US release in sight for this one (or any of the Death Note games as far as I know) and it's not playable on NO$ at this point, so picking it up now is probably your best bet if you want to play it.

All in all, if you like L, then this is a title to pick up.
