The Original Backnobber II tool is a deep muscle, massage device that provides a way for people to manage simple muscular pain and tension both on their own and in conjunction with professional treatment and therapy. Made of a highly durable, polymer/fiberglass composite, molded in the shape of an "S," The Backnobber II device can be hooked over the shoulder or under the arm so that one of the two ends can be pressed into any of the muscles of the neck or shoulders, back, hips and hamstrings. The Backnobber II tools natural shape and dimensions allow the user to apply as much pain-releasing pressure for as long as required to achieve its remarkable effects. Comment: I love this product!!! I have had a couple of different versions of the electrical massagers and they don't hold a candle to this simple, but very effective product. It is incredibly simple to use for anyone and does a fantastic job of relieving upper back and neck tension and spasms. I keep it in my office at work and my co-workers come and borrow it all the time. I am seriously thinking about buying this for my whole family for Christmas. Do not hesitate, buy it now.

Comment: My daughter had an Original Backnobber II when I visited her this summer, and I tried hers. Found it really helped me, so I ordered one, and was very happy with the prompt shipping and response time. I definitely recommend anyone with high stress levels to give one a try, and it can be taken apart, so it takes up very little space at home or traveling.

Summary: I Gave Mine a Nickname
Comment: I've found this product to be so useful, and even necessary at times, that I've grown fond of it. lol When I feel a trigger point,(muscle knot as it's also known,) in a hard to reach place, I tell my husband that I need "My Dear Friend". My husband does try to work out my "knots" himself at times, but since he's a real amateur and it's a pain to keep telling him exactly where to focus, I find that I often prefer My Dear... Dear Friend. :) I use it all over my body and don't know how I could live without it. I give it only four stars because although it can give great leverage and versatility by it's S shape I have found it at times hard to keep a good grip on it, which I didn't have a problem with when I used a massage cane because of its spikes. I prefer this, however, because the shape is more comfortable and versatile to work with.
Btw, if you're curious, we have given other items personifications and names as well. For instance, we call my body pillow Mr. Willow and have a lot of fun making him say all sorts of things. lol He's all worn-out and lumpy now, but my husband doesn't want him replaced because he'd be sad. :P lol Just felt like sharing. :)

Comment: I've had the original Backnobber for three years now and use it 3-4 times a week. It works particularly well placed under the back while lying in bed. The best $30. I've ever spent!

Summary: A Great Tool For Relieving Back Pain
Comment: The 'Backnobber II' is a very worthwhile investment for anyone who ever suffers from back pain.
Although they are not chronic for me, I do have aches and pains that are hard to reach at times. I have a very muscular back and my wife's hands are quite small so she is rarely able to help me out much. With this, that is no longer a concern.
It is designed so that it can be used anywhere on the body including those very hard to reach spots on the back. It can be broken down into two pieces so it is very easy to pack and take along when on the road also.
I first heard of this in 'Self Massage For Athletes' by Rich Poley Self-Massage for Athletes. That would be a great companion to this massager. I recommend both.
