Customer Rating: Summary: A Diamond is Forever Comment: I really enjoyed getting this one - it rounds out my collection and pleasantly surprised me with the guest spots of Helen Reddy and "the Fonz." My grandchildren already have memorized "Sweet Caroline" and love to belt it out. Talk about "A Diamond is Forever!" I'm a fan, took my Mom to see him many years ago, my daughters, and now my grandchildren love him. How many entertainers can boast being totally loved by FOUR generations! I popped it into the CD player and breezed through my housework. As usual, it arrived on time and in great shape and was very affordable. AND, the CD inspired me to get myself some tickets to see Neil Diamond recently in Philadelphia. What a Master Entertainer STILL! He has his own unique voice and beat, and the same gifted musicians and singers still backing him up.
Customer Rating: Summary: Neil Diamond Comment: Bought Hot August Night and Live at the Greek. Brought back many wonderful memories of the time and place. Thank you Amazon for suggesting the second purchase. Brilliant.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not up to Hot August Night but better than other ND live stuff. Comment: I like this one a great deal more than "Hot August Night II." Neil's voice was at it's primo in 1976. I also love the "Jonathon Livingston Seagul" medley.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love at the Greek by Neil Diamond Comment: Wonderful CD by Neil Diamond and in great condition for a used product. Good value at good price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Jumping the Shark Comment: I am a big fan, but this is where Neil jumps the shark. The Song Sung Blue part of this concert is so bad it is funny; Las Vegas did not become Neil. Gold was the first concert album and the best; his voice wasn't shot yet. Hot August Night has great moments, but LATG just has cringe moments.
