Customer Rating: Summary: It works for me! Comment: I have really thick, black, relaxed hair of somewhat different textures. There is a patch of hair in the middle of my head that is REALLY thick and so tightly coiled when the new growth comes in that it does not comb through easily. The rest of my hair has more of a loose curl and is much easier to comb. I have tried both the restorative treatment and the ultra-hydrating conditioner (deep conditioning), and after roller-setting and sitting under the dryer my hair comes out looking healthy and shiny. I've gotten accustomed to the smell and don't mind it so much. It will not work for everyone; nothing will. It made my medium-textured relaxed hair a puffy disaster. I expect a conditioner to make my hair feel soft and a wide-tooth comb should glide through with the product in and after it is rinsed out.
