Summary: Awesome Phone System
Comment: This phone system is just plain great. Tactile feel buttons, in-coming audio is fantastic, 70 name & number storage capacity, easy set-up, answering machine is right on, great screen with easy to read orange backlight, small & light-weight phones don't create arm fatigue, and a great range. Only downside.....in-coming ring volume is a bit low.(Minor quibble at best)

Summary: excited to buy it!!!
Comment: After reading about this phone, I'm excited to buy it !!! It's new (2008) and it has everything a married guy would want, even some complications with programming the handsets !!! I'm so electronic gizmo challenged my wife has to set up all of our accounts and laptop computers otherwise it will get lost somehow. Here we go, wish me luck. Paul.

Comment: Phones were preprogrammed, easy to setup and work fine.
Calling from the phonebook listing, in the phone, is not intutive.
I had to go back to the manual several times to do this.

Summary: Great phone with no cons
Comment: I've had this phone for a week now. I preferred it over the newer Uniden DECT3080-3, because this model's base unit has a speakerphone and the DECT3080 apparently doesn't. I'm surprised that so few users have reviewed this phone on Amazon as of the date of this review.
Some points:
-The sound quality on the handsets is quite clear.
-There is no observable interference, and the range is not a problem in my apartment.
-To me, the ringer volume sounds just right - it's neither too low nor too high.
-This phone has a call privacy feature to prevent others from prying. I haven't used this feature, but if you do use it, I think it would be required that all of your telephones on this line are handsets connected to this base unit.
-The three handsets come preprogrammed to work with the base. Additional handsets must be programmed manually before they can be used - this process is quite simple.
-Additional handsets are available in multiple colors as well - red, white, blue, and black.
I bought this phone from a local store so that I could easily return it if I needed to. If you do buy it, I strongly suggest reading the manual before setting up the phone.
If there was one feature I could ask for, it would be a mini-USB port on the base to allow me to communicate with the phone from my computer, so I could make configuration changes, and especially to edit the address books. This, however, may be a lot to ask for.

Comment: We have this unit for 3 weeks I could not honestly recomend it to my friends,it is not easy to use and programing is a nightmare,the sound quality is also poor, But it does not interfere with our computor and other wireless systems
