Summary: You get less than you pay for!
Comment: This printer came without black ink and without the cord to attach it to the computer. It doesn't have enough memory to print a long address list and the memory can not be increased under options. There is no help section on the installation disk. It is O.K. for small jobs and that is all.

Comment: I'm an IDIOT! I did read the reviews before I bought this thing, OMG! What a headache! This is and was the MOST frustrating piece of anything I have EVER tried to add on..People left bad reviews about this product......I liked to think that , maybe, they did get a "bad one". B.S.!!
It is a P.O.S.! And it's getting the H@ll out of my house ASAP. It eats paper, it feeds paper and nothing gets printed! Bye-Bye, it's a hunk of junk! My Broken printer worked this well! I'm sorry I didn't believe people about this one. I buy things on Amazon.com (a lot) and really have had no problems. This has PISSED ME OFF! Again, again & again!!!!

Summary: Good value, not too fast.
Comment: I picked this up at a Target store. Like the previous reviewer, watch out for the lack of black ink. I noticed on the top of the box at the last second. For what I print (school work), the quality is just fine. It is not the fastest printer but is more than suitable for most jobs. So far no complaints, I just hope the ink doesn't run out too fast.

Comment: The HP D2530 is just your average ink jet printer, and at $39.99, with free shipping, it is a good value. My only complaint is that it came with only the tri-color cartridge; no black cartridge included. The tri-color cartridge does, however, print in a light, almost brown, black. For less than $40 what do you expect? The reality is that HP and the other manufactures earn their profit on the ink and lose on the printer itself.
