The Nokia N78 is designed to take advantage of the suite of Nokia services. The Nokia N78 packs a powerful range of technologies, including integrated A-GPS, with free Nokia Maps, WLAN and high-speed HSPDA 3G connectivity, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and support for microSD memory card, currently available at up to 8 GB, to store favorite music and media. The novelties of the N78 are geotagging of photos and an integrated FM transmitter that allows music to be played on any FM radio, in a car or at home.Taking advantage of its integrated A-GPS functionality and 3.2 megapixel camera, the Nokia N78 introduces the increasingly popular online practice of 'geotagging' to a Nokia device. The Nokia N78 automatically tags images with capture location metadata, making it possible to view the capture location on a map either on the device itself, or online. With its high-speed internet connectivity, over WLAN or HSDPA, uploading photos and videos to online communities like Share on Ovi, Flickr or YouTube is a single key stroke away.Music remains a core feature of the Nokia N78 and Nokia's range of N series multimedia computers. In addition to the up to 8 GB of memory, internal speakers and support for standard 3.5 mm headphones, the N78 also comes with Nokia Internet Radio, giving instant access to thousands of radio stations around the world.

Customer Rating: Summary: I like, great price Comment: I have to say kudos to Amazon I had a defective phone. In one day I had a replacement. I had the UPS man asking to take the defective phone off my hands. That is SERVICE! Now the phone. Very fast! Very bright! I use the FM Transmitter and radio many times a day. Love the photo Geo Tagging, Sportstracker, QuickOffice 5.0, design, music player, podcasting directories. The things that are OK are: Nokia Maps( Google is free and much faster, headphones)you must try your own awesome feature. I have a videocamera that takes pics, but this is a very good back up. I gladly give up the video and picture taking ability to have the price drop. Haven't stopped using it since I got it from the UPS guy(the guy runs fast though, funny too). Will buy again from Amazon. NOTE: The only thing that kept me from buying the N79 was the design. Many features but no comparison in design to the N78.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nokia N78 Comment: Other than the price being a little steep, I'm quite happy with the phone and all of it's features. One of the most improtant things to me is how well the phone actually performs as a phone. The clarity and volume is great compared to some of the previous motorola phones I've owned, and have yet to recieve any complaints from whoever I'm talking to on the other end.
As far as the features go, there's more than i will ever use. I've yet to run across any problems using most of them. The camera takes suprisngly good pictures for a camera phone, and the mp3/internet radio/fm radio get used often, and also work well. Also, this phone is supported by the joiku spot software, which lets me use my phone as a wireless router. The 3g download speed supported is great, and helps break up a very boring day at work when my laptop's connected to the phone.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Phone! Comment: I was expecting this phone from several weeks, and the final date arrived.
It is simple awesome!
Excelent display, with a great angle view, very fast for common task and also very fast in GPS, with Garmin Mobile XT (4.20.20).
It GPS is faster than N95 or N82!
Great battery life!
I'd like to note its keypad that you have to get used at first.
But, as i said, simply awesome!
Customer Rating: Summary: Exotic Comment: First i have to thank to Amazon.com and their wonderful service with out standing customer service , Nokia N78 is a small computer in your hand and more...... fantastic performance with awesome features and the exotic looks , i really can tell this PDA is from future and nothing like it .
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Phone, Small Keypad Comment: Nokia seem to be experimenting with a different keyboard layout/feel. The N78 is a good attempt...but the numeric keypad requires you to have tiny fingers to type on the N78 (quite like the iPhone).
There are real cool apps that come with the phone...
-Message Reader converts your text messages to voice. Quite good quality.
-FM Transmitter makes your mp3 transmit to listen via your car stereo. The two loudspeakers make listening without a headset more pleasurable.
-PodCast allows you update your subscribed podcasts via WLAN. This is cool.
-Camera with video, even though with 3.2Megapixels, is easily usable in the same way as the N95.
The GPS is still quite a drain on the battery (as with N95), and not as useful as all the hype.
The Messaging app now confuses a little, it allows you to send an "Audio Message" via MMS, while send a "Message" includes text or MMS capability built-in.
