If one was to make a musical time capsule of 2007 a collection of sounds and lyrics reflecting the energy of our moment it might be a good idea to drop in a copy of METRO STATION's eponymous debut record. Sure, the band is young (OK, still in fake ID territory), but Metro Station's brazenly catchy dance hooks and yearning lyrics perfectly capture what it feels like to be a teenager in today's culture. This is a band that was weaned on and made by the Internet, whose dedicated legion of online fans made them MySpace stars in a matter of weeks. This is a band that caught the early attention of ALTERNATIVE PRESS (earning a spot as one of the magazine's 22 Best Underground Bands), along with URB and TEEN VOGUE magazines, months before they signed to a label. Metro Station is a band that, despite their youth, have made their way from greasy mall jobs to recording with Motion City Soundtrack in the same year. They are truly a product of their times and their generation, and they are ready to take advantage of it.

Summary: Love it, but....
Comment: To be honest I was more curious to get to know Metro Stations music mainly because 2 of the band mates are older brothers of Hannah Montana stars(Miley Cyrus's bro & Mitchel Muso's bro)and thats how they actually got to form this band. Well i first watched like ALL there vids on their youtube channel and I GOT HOOKED!! the 2 musics vids i watched were so good i instantly ordered their album on amazon!!! and when i got it, this album is all i listened to-- i woke up to it in the morning, played it when i got home, brought it to my friends houses, etc. The only thing though that i was upset about is that there songs were to short-- when the song ends your like "thats it" but anyway this album is deff. worth wild to buy! I do not have any regrets for buying this album.

Comment: One of the best CD's I have bought in 5 years. The songs are catchy and can be enjoyed over and over. If you enjoy semi-techno bands such as The Killers (my fave) this CD should be bought. YOU MUST BUY, great for all ages, I enjoy and I am 19.

Comment: There so cool they have great talent! and sould go far anyway my favrite songs are seveteen again and shake it. i'd reccomend this to you if you like the all american rejects cuz this cd remind me of them..... So What are you waiting for go buy it!

Comment: I only heard a few of their songs before, but I loved them, and loved the CD even more when it arrived.
The condition was great, I always buy used Cd's off Amazon because they are always in great condition and a lot cheaper.
