Summary: Excellent as a primer or color.
Comment: If you have oily areas around your eyes, these are perfect as a good primer and base. It really brings out the color and you don't get any creasing. Lasts long. Great to use by itself as a color or to build upon. Use Painterly if you are fair skinned for great primer.

Comment: I've tried many different eyeshadow primers and bases, and this was suggested to me by the MAC artist during one of trips to MAC. I have oily skin and my shadows almost always crease, and so far this is the only product to stop that. I purchased this as a base in the color "Painterly" and it works fabulous! It goes on smooth, and creates a nice even tone under the shadow. Eyeshadow applied on top of it looks more true to color and intesifies. Paint Pots are water resistant, and if I have used this, after an 8 hour day, I do not usually have any creasing. On some occasions I have had some, but it is very minimal. I used to use the Prep & Prime eye, but now prefer the Paint Pots. This is one of my daily makeup "must haves".
