ASSORTED COLORS Sea-Band for Travel Sickness PLANES, TRAINS, BOATS, CARS, COACHES AND EVEN AT THE FUNFAIR! Try them - they really work! Travelling the world - for business or pleasure - is now easier than ever. But whether your journey is by air, road, rail or sea it can be a miserable experience if you suffer from travel sickness. The nausea, dizziness and vomiting caused by any form of transport are triggered by a confusion of messages received in the brain. Although you may be sitting motionless in a seat, your senses tell you that you are actually moving. Contrary to common belief, the resulting nausea is not "all in the mind" and is experienced by children and adults alike. Early signs of travel sickness include quietness, headaches and lethargy, often followed by uncontrollable vomiting. Drug-free remedies Anti-sickness drugs may have unwanted side-effects such as drowsiness and may not be suitable for children or for some adults. Yet there are other ways to help prevent nausea: In cars or buses, sit at the front and always face the direction in which you are travelling. Don't look out of side windows and focus on the horizon. Breathe in fresh air - open a window or stay outside on a ship's deck. Don't eat a heavy or greasy meal before travelling. Keep children occupied - play an "I spy" game for example. Most importantly, wear Sea-Bands during your journey.

Customer Rating: Summary: Sea Bands Comment: The product arrived on time in excellent condition. I can't wait to try it out on our upcoming cruise to see if it works on preventing sea sickness.
Customer Rating: Summary: Anti nausea Bands Comment: These are super bands...used them in Bar Harbor, Maine on a fishing boat trip and I never even got queasy....have to be sure to get them put in the right spot with the bead sitting toward your skin for the accupressure points 2 1/2 to 3 fingers width away from wrist.....keep them in my purse at all times for even car sickness or dizziness. The captain on the boat knew what he was talking about.
Customer Rating: Summary: not bad Comment: So far, they have worked well for me. I bought these for motion sickness prior to taking a long car trip. I don't know if it's psychological or not (lol), but for the price it was worth a try. There are still times when I feel a little queasy, but I haven't been sick yet. They are a little tight, but I wouldn't say they're uncomfortable. I got used to them quickly.
Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible Experience Comment: I get motion-sickness when taking my eyes off the road for an extended period of time, on many amusement park rides and on flights with a turbulent descent. Dramamine has worked in the past but even a half dose makes me very drowsy. I tried Sea-Bands for the first time on a flight and did not get sick, but I am not sure whether to attribute this to the product or the relatively smooth flight. However, I had an AWFUL experience using them on a recent ocean fishing outing. When our guide transported us from one fishing spot to another, I had to hold on tight to keep from being thrown off my seat. I believe that the combination of my gripping and the pressure from the Sea-Bands resulted in a drastic restriction of blood flow to my hands. When the boat stopped and I let go, I found that I could not move my hands from the clenching position, all fingers pointing inwards, for about 5 minutes. What's more, there was EXTREME tightness/pins-and-needles in my stomach and face. My lips tightened up to the point that I could barely talk. And, I'm not exaggerating here, I honestly thought for a moment that I was going to die. Somehow I was able to pry the Sea-Bands from my wrists but by then it was too late. I vomited and immediately accepted an offer to be dropped off so that the rest of the party could enjoy the fishing trip. I am a little surprised that mine is the only negative review yet for this product when it comes to sea-sickness. I would warn anyone engaging in any kind of strenuous activity to use an alternative remedy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sea-Bands are great!!! Comment: I've suffered from motion sickness (all kinds: car, boat, plane, etc.)as far back as I can remember into my childhood; 15 yrs. ago, a fellow traveler offered her Sea-Bands after a flight had taken off and I was immediately affected (and had forgotten to take medicine). When I saw them, I thought the woman must be out-of-her-mind, but I didn't want to be rude, so I took them and used them. I was immediately improved and had no further motion sickness problems. Since then, I have used Sea-bands (and given many away) hundreds of times and have never suffered from motion sickness again! I can even read while traveling!
