But I was happily impressed with the color, which I highly recommend for very pale skin with blue undertones. It has just enough tack without being drying, and the color sheer enough, allowing the user to determine how much depth you want to add. Good stuff and I use it every time I need a good scarlet. The packaging is beautiful, but that's just an added plus. The lipstick goes on smoothly, does not feather or run and stays on forever. It is not heavy and it finishes to a perfect half shiny/half matte finish.
If you're unsure of which color is right for you, go to your local Sephora and check them out first. I think I'm going to pick up extra tubes of each color before they sell out! I have 2 of the Kat Von D lipsticks, and I extremely impressed with the quality of the lipsticks! They go on smooth, and have great coverage, and they stay great, without ever making my lips feel dry.
I plan on getting the other two colors as well (I have Hellbent and Misfit right now) as I've seen them in the store and they're really nice looking shades. People sometimes shy away from reds. I tell people they have no idea how good it looks until they really find a good one and put it on! Look no further! Buy one of these!
Side note---met KVD in NYC last week, and she's a definite genuine extremely nice person, so I feel even better buying and supporting her product line. I just hope she puts more stuff out!
