Summary: Expanding My System for Superb Sound
Comment: I received the GE 28821FE2 Dect 6.0 Digital Cordless Phone and Digital Answering System about four months ago, and, although the set had features I did not like much, the sound quality has been superb. A number of people I have spoken to on the phones have remarked on the fine sound they produce.
Over the months, however, I found that two phones were not enough for our house, so I purchased this extra phone to expand the system. It sits in the kitchen where it is easily reachable. The bright light on the top of the phone and the bottom of the base can be very annoying by a bed. But in a kitchen -- perfect! You can't miss it -- day or night.
Setting up the phone to communicate with my current system was a breeze. I followed the instruction included with the phone and had it installed within a couple of minutes. Like the previous phones, this one offers superb sound. I couldn't be more pleased.
Amazon's price is winner as well. When I could find an expansion phone at all, the price in the retail stores here was more than double Amazon's price. Shipping was so fast that I had my expansion unit the next day.
This cordless phone compares favorably with any corded phone I've ever owned. I highly recommend both the original two-phone set as well as this expansion unit. You'll have a clearer, crisper sound!
