Tube brush uses a flexible spring wire to clean your CamelBak delivery tube. Cleaning tablets are fast acting and keep your reservoir free from taste and odor. Reservoir Dryer features a hanger piece that hangs your reservoir upside down and a second piece that allows water to drain out of the reservoir opening. Reservoir and Tube brushes feature memory bristles that"ll return to their original shape when heated with an ordinary blow-dryer.

Comment: This cleaning kit should be a recommended buy with all CamelBak bladders. It's nearly impossible to dry out the bladder without these drying hangers that allow you to open up the bladder to let excess water to evaporate. I was stuffing mine full of paper towels until I bought this kit. Buy it with confidence.

Comment: I own a Camelbak hydro-backpack with a single storage pocket and I use it for extended biking trips which means I get plenty of use from it. I bike at least three times a week, more in the warmer weather, and I thought I needed a good cleaning kit for my pack too. However, the cleaning kit is not all what it's cut out to be. Usually, after I come home I always clean my pack and bladder out, dry it and store it until I next use it. The bladder must be emptied, washed and dried. I used the cleaning kit four times and it took longer to clean the bladder this way than when I washed it out with soap and warm water. The brush doesn't work as well as I thought it would and is rather clumsy. The only thing that lived up to its name were the two free chlorine cleaning tablets that came with the kit. The hanging dryer also wasn't of real good use either. I would recommend not purchasing this item, just take the five minutes every time you use your Camelbak to wash it out with soap & water.

Comment: I was hesitant at first to purchase this cleaning kit, but then I realized I had a lack of options and bought it anyway. It works great! Forget those reviews where the people said they couldn't figure out how to use the drying devices - yes, they're right in that the instructions aren't great, but if you just use your head a little, it really isn't hard to figure out.

Comment: This cleaning kit is very useful for making sure that mold and other nasty stuff doesn't grow in your hydration bladder, tube or valve. I discovered some black moldy goo in mine after I was looking for the source of the lingering nasty metallic taste in my mouth, and then decided to buy the kit.
I haven't regretted it. The yellow plastic parts allow you to spread open the bladder and hang it upside down so it can dry out completely and quickly. Very easy.
Cleaning the tube with the included mini-brush/wire is not quite so straightforward. Moving the wire inside the tube gets progressively harder the more of it is in the tube, to the point where it doesn't budge anymore when it's 3/4 in. I then realized that a few drops of dishwashing soap might help loosen things up. That worked.
I use my hydration system with filtered water only, so no odors have developed and I haven't felt the need to use the cleaning tablets yet.
In summary, this kit is a must-have if you want to use your hydration pack often. Well worth the money.
