Enhancing home and small office operation, Canon's imageCLASS MF4350d provides duplex output capabilities for printing, copying and receiving faxes. With this duplexing capability customers will be able to significantly reduce paper consumption by duplex printing documents from a PC, or on incoming faxes. The unit also allows users to copy single-sided pages to double-sided output. Through the device's 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), output is easily duplex printed for a more streamlined office workflow.The MF4350d boasts print and copy speeds of up to 23 pages-per-minute (ppm) for letter-sized output, and delivers Quick First Prints or copy pages in approximately nine seconds. The unit also offers a large paper handling of up to 250 pages in a front loading cassette.The MF4350d device prints sharp monochrome text with resolution up to 1200 x 600 dpi. Through use of the platen glass or the automatic document feeder (ADF) color scans are captured in 24-bit color at an interpolated resolution of up to 9600 dpi. The device also transmits documents seamlessly and quickly with Super G3 fax, reaching speeds of approximately 33.6 Kbps. It features eight one-touch speed dial numbers, 100 coded speed dial numbers, 256-page memory capacity, PC faxing, and two-sided duplex output to provide a robust fax solution in a compact desktop design.The MF4350d also incorporates the Canon single cartridge system, which combines the toner and drum in one easy-to-replace unit, resulting in excellent image quality retention and eliminating the complication and warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.

Summary: No printing? No way!
Comment: This product is the newer version of the MFC 4150. I have both a new iMAC and a PC running Vista. I was able to have this multifunction printer do everything except PRINT! I could scan, copy and fax with my my computer but something was wrong with the printer drivers for either computer. I called tech support and went through their hoops with no success. The drivers did not fix the problem. My suspicion is that this new release printer has a bug in its driver. Either way I returned the product and got a full refund. I ended up ordering the former model the 4150 which has a better track record (as evident from the numerous reviews). For some odd reason the 4150 is also 10 dollars more expensive. There must a reason for that right?
PS: It was the tech support for Canon that recommended I return the printer. They stated they were out of ideas.

Summary: Great All in One if you use a MAC !!!
Comment: This is a really great little printer for the money, It is; fast, quiet, and really easy to use. Prints are clean and professional. It is only black and white, but you can scan color items and print on an inkjet ( I use my old epson ) It is also totally MAC compatible! You have the option to scan or copy using either the feed or the flatbed.... Gotta say, I love this machine ! Although you have to go to canon's website to download the drivers for Mac, if you call their support at 1-800-385-2155( if you're a bone head like me) they will walk you through it and make sure everything is configured right.
