Customer Rating: Summary: What's on the Inside of this Book? Comment: Celebrity fashion stylist Rachel Zoe claims that she's all about what's on the INSIDE, "I mean," she writes in chapter 5, "who doesn't subscribe to that?" By watching her Bravo show, it would be a stretch to assume this personality trait about her because clearly it's ONLY about what's on the outside in terms of accessories, designer gowns and blatant fashion excess. This colorful book, however, is a fun collection of photos, drawings, and fashion tips. It provides Zoe's take on the importance of accessorizing (in a chapter called "Excessories,"), covers the red carpet, and what to wear behind closed doors. Celebrities coat the pages.
I believe it would make a great gift for not only fans of her show, but also fans of red carpet glamour. It's all about what it takes to put together these popular, iconic looks with the bonus of not having to listen to her voice or tolerate the moronic behavior of her staff.

Customer Rating: Summary: Rachel Zoe's Style A-Zoe Comment: If you love fashion, glamour and bling, this book
is for you. Created to help push her TV reality show,
the book gives a behind-the-scenes look at her life,
her family, (Roger her husband, Taylor, her "rock"
who keeps everything all together and from falling
apart, and Brad the newest intern who came from Vogue)
The show is fast paced and this book slows things down
I loved the book and after reading it loved Rachel Zoe
and her "family" even more.
Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE IT!! Comment: I LOVE this book! Rachel Zoe has excellent tips & the photos are great. I personally love Rachel's own style of dressing & accessorizing. If you watched The Rachel Zoe Project & loved it like I did, you HAVE to buy this!
Customer Rating: Summary: Lots of fun and good advice Comment: I'll admit I enjoy buying style books. I don't actually need a lot of help styling myself, but reading about fashion and style is a fun pastime for me. I read style books like other women read "chick lit" (which I can't stand) - think beach/vacation reading.
In that vein, reading Rachel Zoe's book was a great escape. Beautiful photos, fun commentary and, actually, a couple of really good ideas. I loved the section on clothing, shoe and jewelry storage. And I didn't expect the book to address interior decorating, so that was an unexpected treat. (Modernism isn't my personal style, but it was really interesting to learn a little about the subject.) At $10 and change through amazon, this book is a bargain. It didn't change my life, but it was fun to flip through in the bathtub!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not a style guide, just a photo album Comment: I'm very disappointed on this book. I thought it would be like a guide in how to dress according to your body type and tips on how to accesorize, etc, but all it does is to present Rachel's clients and talks about how much they like her. it has pictures of celebrities in the dresses she picked for them. It really looks like a magazine. a lot of celebrity pictures, pictures of Rachel when she was younger...
There's no guide in here, nothing that can help you dress better or be more stylish. It talks about how important is to accesorize but wont tell you how to. It talks about how confident you must be in any outfit you wear but wont tell you how to achieve the look that can actually make you feel confident.
